Typical Aluminum Parts
Housings, camera accessories, plates, covers, structural supports, and custom machined brackets.
Shengqi provides aluminum CNC machining for housings, brackets, plates, covers, fixtures, heat-dissipation components, and other lightweight parts with milling, turning, finishing, and inspection support.
Aluminum is widely used for parts that need low weight, machinability, thermal performance, corrosion resistance, or a controlled cosmetic finish. Final process planning depends on alloy, geometry, wall thickness, tolerances, surface requirements, and quantity.
Housings, camera accessories, plates, covers, structural supports, and custom machined brackets.
CNC milling supports housings, pockets, plates, brackets, and multi-face features, while turning supports round housings, sleeves, adapters, spacers, and connectors.
One-off prototypes, engineering samples, low-volume batches, and repeat orders can be reviewed with finishing, inspection, packing, and export delivery requirements.
The alloy and temper should be defined by the drawing or approved during quotation. Material availability, strength, corrosion exposure, thermal requirements, cosmetic finish, and certification needs can influence selection.
| Alloy family | Typical reason for consideration | RFQ information to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| 6061 aluminum | General-purpose machined parts, housings, brackets, fixtures, and structural components | Temper, certification, tolerances, finish, and cosmetic surfaces |
| 6063 aluminum | Parts where finish appearance, profiles, or application-specific properties are relevant | Material form, temper, anodizing, dimensions, and acceptance standard |
| 7075 aluminum | Higher-strength applications where the design calls for this alloy | Grade, temper, corrosion protection, critical features, and traceability |
| Other specified alloys | Application-specific mechanical, thermal, weight, or finishing requirements | Exact standard, acceptable alternatives, certificates, and final condition |
Specify anodizing type, color, gloss, cosmetic surfaces, masking, contact points, and an agreed visual standard. Color can vary with alloy, batch, geometry, and process.
Identify required roughness, tool-mark limits, grain direction, brushing, painting, laser marking, or other appearance criteria directly on the drawing.
Critical fits, threads, bores, sealing faces, grounding points, and masked areas should state whether dimensions apply before or after surface treatment.
Wall thickness, unsupported height, pocket depth, corner radii, and tool access affect stiffness, vibration, deformation, machining time, and inspection strategy.
Clear datums and functional tolerances help define workholding and inspection for mounting patterns, bores, sealing faces, mating surfaces, and assembly interfaces.
State dimensional report, material certificate, finish report, traceability, sampling, or other documentation requirements before quotation and production.
View quality controlCommon engineering grades such as 6061, 6063, 7075, and other specified aluminum alloys can be reviewed. The final grade, temper, certification, and acceptable alternatives must be confirmed for the project.
Anodizing and other finishing requirements can be coordinated where appropriate. State the finish type, color, masking, cosmetic areas, dimensional considerations, and acceptance standard on the RFQ.
Provide the 3D model, dimensioned drawing, aluminum grade, quantity, tolerances, surface finish, cosmetic requirements, inspection scope, and delivery target.
